Fans of GOT7 in Malaysia, you will be pleased to learn that we have recently announced that South Korean boy band GOT7 will be heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this December for GOT7 “Flight Log: Turbulence” in Malaysia 2016.
GOT7 is a South Korean boy group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2014. The group comprises of JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam and Yugyeom who hail from South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong and the United States.
GOT7 released their debut EP, Got It?, on January 20, 2014. On October 22, 2014, they debuted in Japan with the release of their first Japanese single, “Around the World”.
For their work in 2014, GOT7 won Best New Artist Group at the Seoul Music Awards and received three nominations at the 29th Golden Disk Awards, winning the Newcomer Award and China Goodwill Star.
On March 21, 2016, GOT7's fifth mini album, Flight Log: Departure, was released. On March 31, 2016, GOT7 entered the Billboard Artist 100 chart at 45. Flight Log: Departure debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers album chart and number 2 on Billboard World albums chart.
On April 12, GOT7 digitally released "Home Run", the second title track for their Flight Log: Departure album.
GOT7 held their first solo concert, the “Fly Tour”, on April 29–30 in Seoul, with the tour continuing on to dates in China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and the United States throughout the summer.
On September 16, GOT7 released a schedule for their upcoming comeback. It was announced on September 17, that the album would consist of 13 songs, with many being written by the members themselves. From September 18 to 24, a number of teasers were released, including an album preview and trailer, member teaser images, an album spoiler, as well as choreography and music video teasers. The official music video for Hard Carry was released on September 27, along with the entire Flight Log: Turbulence album.
Come December 4, GOT7 will once again return to meet with their fans in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
