BLACK6IX Visited Kuala Lumpur and Penang for Their Very First Promo Tour in Malaysia

Following their first leg of BLACK6IX promo tour in Malaysia 2017 in Cheras Leisure Mall, Korean boygroup, Black6ix made their second stop at Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur. The 6-member boygroup consists of Taeyoung (leader), Yongseok, Jungwoon, Ziki, Yey, and maknae, The King.

Their presence in Quill City Mall certainly lit up the place as their performances catches the attention of not only their loyal fans who have been waiting for their idols, but also other mall visitors who mostly stop to catch a glimpse of the korean boygroup.

The boys opened their performance for the day with their latest single, “Like A Flower”. Despite a slight technical glitch early on, the boys coolly start over and managed to perform the song without any more difficulties. They then proceeds to introduce themselves and thanked the fans who came to the venue to see them. After that, the boys turn on the heat at the venue with a cover of BTS’s Fire followed by a song from their latest single album, Universe.

During the second break, black6ix played a game with some lucky fans. The boys of black6ix were paired up and one fan is assigned to each team. The game was ‘Guess The Song’ where the fan would sing back the song that they were listening to and the pair of black6ix members would need to guess correctly the title of the song. In the end, the pair of Taeyoung and The King wins the game session with 5 correct guesses. Second was Yongseok-Yey pair (4 correct) and Ziki-Jongwoon pair was third (3 correct). 

After the fun and enjoyable game session, the boys performed another cover performance, this time of BTS’s latest hit, DNA. Afterwards, the boys had some fun on stage with a beatbox battle between Yongseok and Yey, followed by a rap battle between Ziki and The King. The cheer of their fans, buoyed by the energy the boys were giving off, gets louder and louder as the battle went on.

And before their last performance of the day, the boys said they hope that more and more people will fall for their charms and hope the fans will look forward for many more black6ix performances to come in the future. The boys then wrapped up their performance with their latest single, Please (제발). They then held a small selfie session with fans followed by an autograph session to close their second leg of their promo tour in Quill City Mall.

The boys held the next leg of their promo tour in Malaysia on the same day, 7pm, at Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang followed by appearance at Champagne Shower NYE Party at The Top Komtar, also in Penang on New Year’s Eve, and a fanmeeting session at Restaurant KL Seafood Market on New Year’s Day, 5pm.
