BTOB to Hold Final Show as 6 Members in Malaysia
South Korean boy band, BTOB will be holding their first fan meeting in Malaysia <BTOB in Malaysia 2018> on Mitec Kuala Lumpur on 16 December 2018 at 5pm. Initially, only Minhyuk is scheduled to join the mandatory military service in South Korea in February 2019, making this fan meeting the last event for him before his enlistment. However, another member, Changsub then shared an unexpected news about his enlistment as well. Changsub will be starting his military service in January 2019, which is way earlier than Minhyuk. Thus, this fanmeeting in Malaysia will be the last overseas event where fans are able to see BTOB performs as 6 members.
The last time BTOB came to Malaysia was more than a year ago for a K-Pop concert. Although this fan meeting will be held without their leader Eunkwang who was enlisted in August, this does not dampen the determination of BtoB to meet with Melody in Malaysia. Moreover, fans are still looking forward to the fan meeting because they are able to watch the rest of the 6 members in Malaysia as well get to bid farewell to Minhyuk and Changub before they go for the military service.
<BTOB in Malaysia 2018> is specially designed for Malaysia stop and it is not just an ordinary fan meeting. It combines both mini concert and fan meeting concepts, allowing fans to see more live performances while interacting with the members.
The organiser has offered several amazing fan benefits to allow BTOB fans (Melody) to get up close with BTOB. For instance, all the fans who purchased the fan meeting tickets will get the chance to meet BTOB and say goodbye to the members through <Goodbye Session>, especially Minhyuk and Changsub who will be enlisting in the military soon. Not only that, 30 lucky fans will be selected to take group photos with BTOB and 30 autographed album will be given away through a lucky draw.
Earlier today, the organizer continued to keep the fans excited with the announcement of extra fan benefits. The fan meeting which was initially free standing zone will be changed to free seating zone as requested by fans. Fans are still required to line up according to the queue number stated on the ticket but free to choose their seats once they enter the venue. Besides that, 30 autographed posters will be given away to winners of the game segments that will be held during the fan meeting.
BtoB was founded in 2012 by Cube Entertainment. Members include Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon, Sungjae. The name BtoB stands for "Born To Beat". Their group name is born from their passion for music to impacts their listeners. Thus, they bear 2 themes: "born for new music and stage" and "born with music to shock the audience around the world."
