Kim Jong Kook's Special Appearance at Encorp Strand Mall's Grand Opening Attracted a Huge Crowd

Whether you are a fan of Korean Pop or just a mere fan of the popular South Korean variety show, Running Man, you must have heard the name 'Kim Jong Kook'! Yes, the 'sparta' of Running Man, tiger, the commander, you name it! Despite not feeling well, he eagerly came down to our shore recently to treat his fans from all walks of life for the grand opening of Encorp Strand Mall, Kota Damansara.

Accompanied by screaming fans, 'SpartaKook' kicked off the show with "Today More Than Yesterday", followed by “Men Are All Like That” which is the title track from his 2012 album, 'Journey Home'. He then performed another of his ballad tracks, "One Man".

During the short interview, Kim Jong Kook expressed his gratitude towards his fans on their endless support that it made him felt better and flashed his biceps! Spoke in fluent English, he said that he has been busy these days with filming and preparation for an upcoming concert but a marriage preparation is not in his list at the moment. When was asked on what kind of girl is his ideal type, he answered with "a healthy and skinny (slender) girl". Lastly, Kim Jong Kook expressed his feelings on how he would love to come to Malaysia once again together with the rest of  Running Man members even though there is no plan at the moment but he will be looking forward to it.

"Loveable" was up next and it received hot response from the audiences as he performed with a cute choreography and also one of his hit tracks! A rapper who accompanied him on the stage wanted to treat the fans by unzipping Kim Jong Kook's shirt to flash his abs but it failed as the startled Kim Jong Kook zipped it back quickly.

"Encore! Encore! Encore!" was the only word we heard out loud at the atrium of the mall and the man himself appeared on the stage once again to wrap up the whole show with "Twist King" which is one of Turbo's (the group which he was in back in the early days) tracks. A whole bunch of fanservices (a term where an artiste treats the fans in various ways) were given as he gave out autographs, took presents and shook hands with some of his eager fans. Kim Jong Kook's friendly personality and melodious voice were indeed part of his traits that made the fans patiently waited for him that day.

Just like its tagline, "Where Everything Happens!", Encorp Strand Mall which is located at Kota Damansara offers a variety of fun for visitors with five star services featured which includes bell service.
