TOPP DOGG New Korean Heartthrob Group Conquer the Stage for Their First Showcase in Malaysia

The thirteen members South Korean boy group known as TOPP DOGG formed by Stardom Entertainment was finally here in Malaysia for their very first showcase. 7th December 2014 marked a history as the group which consists of Jenissi, P-Goon, Seogoong, Gohn, Hojoon, Kidoh, Sangdo, Nakta, Hansol, B-Joo, Xero, A-Tom and Yano successfully held their showcase at HGH Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. However, member Seogoong was unable to join the showcase due to minor injury.

Local as well as international fans from Japan, Singapore, China and even South Korea started to occupy the venue perimeter since early morning. The event started with a countdown VCR of the showcase. TOPP DOGG finally appeared, kicking off the stage with "(말로해) Say It". The members then introduced themselves.

During the first talk session, the emcee, who also was the translator of the event, asked the members to showcase their talents. What captivated us the most was when the members danced to some of the South Korean girl group's hit tracks! Xero, B-Joo, Hojoon and Hansol performed SISTAR's “Touch My Body” choreography while A-Tom danced to Sunmi's “24 Hours”. TOPPKLASS (TOPP DOGG's fanclub name) indeed enjoyed the performance which they can't see elsewhere! When they were asked on which member is the most masculine, P-Goon was chosen.

The showcase continued with “Open The Door (들어와)”, “R-Uh (알어)”, “Arario (아라리오)”, a Wizard Dance Performance and “Peekaboo”. Sub-units of the vocal-line, the dance-line and the rap-line of TOPPDOGG were on stage performing to these songs. Furthermore, Kidoh, the producer and rapper of TOPPDOGG, performed a solo stage of his powerful rap with full might until there was a sudden mute of his performance track which then representatives of TOPPDOGG Malaysia fanclub went up on stage with a cake and a gift card, followed by other TOPPDOGG members. Kidoh was overwhelmed with the birthday surprise for him and expressed his gratitude by thanking the fans for it.

The showcase ended with performance of their latest special track which commemorated TOPP DOGG's first anniversary, “Annie (애니)”. Fans shouted for an encore after the members bid goodbye. They then once again appeared on the stage to perform “Why Am I Like This (나 왜이래)” The showcase wrapped up with an autograph session for VIP ticket holders.
