Hidden Gem, 24K Impressed Fans in Their First Showcase in Malaysia!

Debuted in 2012, South Korean boy group, 24K recently made a stop for their first showcase in Malaysia, organised by New Pro Star Sdn Bhd! Consist of members Cory, Kisu, Sungoh, Daeil, Jeonguk, Hui and Jinhong, the group performed for two showcases at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur and Cheras Leisure Mall. However, only 5 members showed up at the showcase tour, with the absence of member Sungoh and Daeil. Promoting their album, 'Super Fly', which was released in October 2015, the group impressed us with their powerful choreographies and tracks with exciting, heavy beats produced by leader, Cory. New Pro Star Sdn Bhd also held the final round of 'Get K-razy KPOP Dance Cover Competition 2016' on the second day of showcase at Cheras Leisure Mall, in conjunction with Korean Fair, participated by numerous talented competitors!

The first stop for the showcase tour was held at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, followed by the second stop at Cheras Leisure Mall the following day. 24K kicked start the showcase by impressing the audience with "Super Fly", followed by introductions by each members. At the showcase held at Berjaya Times Square, member Jinhong mentioned that the weather in Malaysia is a little different than in Korea and the hazy weather makes him worried a little while member Jeonguk said that the weather is hot than usual so he hoped that their stage would be hotter! The group then performed "Run and Run", followed by "Hey You" with exciting choreography! Game session with fans was up next. It was a charade game for the first stop and a dance competition for the second stop. Surprisingly, Jinhong's team won for both showcases!

The showcase then continued with performance of "Secret Love" and a cover of Adele's "Rolling In The Deep". The members also showed their wittiness by putting the "Aku cinta padamu ('I love you' in Malay language)" sentence in "Secret Love"! When they were asked on their favourite Malaysian dishes, leader Cory mentioned he likes 'kuih' (Malaysian sweet delicacies), Jeonguk with chicken rice and Kisu with his endless love towards 'kaya jam'. On a side note, member Kisu receives a lot of 'kaya jam' from dearest fans! When was asked on what are their ideal type of girls, leader Cory flattered the fans by saying that he likes Malaysian girls because of their pretty eyes and that her ideal type of girl should love eating because he would not mind bringing her outside to eat and even wipe her mouth while eating! Awww~ Member Jeonguk was supposed to describe his ideal type of girl but instead, he chose a fan and said "It's her!". Jinhong said his ideal girl should be someone who loves him back while member Hui likes someone who is kind-hearted. Member Kisu wittily said his ideal girl is someone who likes 'kaya jam'.

The idol group then performed a cover of Big Bang's "Fantastic Baby" for the encore, followed by a photo session and autograph session at the end of each showcases respectively. KloseUP would like to thank New Pro Star for inviting us once again.
