The Legend Greets Malaysian Herose for the First Time!

Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Avenue K was hotter than any other spots on recent Saturday as South Korean idol group, The Legend (전설) was invited to perform for the first time in front of a big number of Malaysian fans! The 5-member idol group which consists of members Listen, Roi, Jaehyuk, Lito and Changsun, was invited as a highly-anticipated performer for Avenue K's Asian Fest which is held from 4th March till 13 March 2016. The Asian Fest also featured various activities and demos including contest for daily top spender and top spender special.

The Meet & Greet with The Legend started off with an opening performance by Malaysia's very own rock band, Projek Pistol by singing 3 songs which captivated the audience with their musical instruments! The Legend then appeared by performing their latest song, 'Crush On You', followed by introductions by each members. The group then performed 'Nail' and 'Shadow'.

It was then time for a quick Q&A session with media. When was asked on how 'different' The Legend is compared to other idol groups, English-speaking member Jaehyuk answered that the average age of their group is a little higher than other idol groups so they are more matured. Next question was on which song represents the group the most, member Lito said that their latest song, 'Crush On You' is a catchy and upbeat song thus it represents their group the most.

Member Jaehyuk also mentioned that the members would love to participate in more variety shows and act in dramas if they are given opportunities. The quintet group also named Big Bang as their role model and chose MAMAMOO as a female idol group that they would like to collaborate with. Member Listen even mentioned that being able to perform in Malaysia and also meet their Malaysian Herose (which The Legend's fans are called as) is one of their memorable experiences.

The Legend then performed 'I Want You Back' and 'I Wanna Know' for the encore. They then held a fansign with lucky fans that each members selected earlier, followed by solo pictures session with 5 lucky winners from Avenue K's Instagram contest. A representative from The Legend Malaysia Fanclub also came up on stage to present special gift of custom made t-shirts for each members and they wore them on the spot. The Legend also took pictures with representatives from Avenue K before they bid goodbye to their fans.
